Geta Burlacu
Geta Burlacu (born Georgeta Povorozniuc on July 22, 1974) is a Moldovan jazz singer. Burlacu represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "A Century Of Love" but foiailed to get past the semi-finals. This, incidentally, is the first time that Moldova misses a Eurovision final since it joined it in 2005.
Burlacu has studied at music college as a violinist and at the Moldovian conservatory as a jazz singer. She has since performed solo and with the bands "Univox Vocal Band", "Acid Grape" and "Right Horns". Read more on Last.fm
