WE DON’T TRUST YOU marks the full-length union of frequent collaborators Future and Metro Boomin. The project’s title calls to Metro’s legendary tag voiced by Future: “If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon' shoot you.” WE DON’T TRUST YOU’s existence was revealed by Future in January 2023, with him stating: I was like, look, the last time anybody’s really heard a song from me and Metro was “Mask Off.” So instead of us randomly throwing one or two songs we did on here, we got to wait and just give them a joint.
