In interviews, Andy Partridge has often said that the Rundgren was difficult to work with and that he disagreed with Rundgren's choices during the recording -- but upon reflection is very happy with the way the album turned out. This album has a very "Beatlesque" feel to it. Often cited as XTC's best album.
